Natural aesthetics bring out the new you, Naturally
NS physicians have chosen to offer the following natural aesthetics procedures because of their remarkable ability to create a more youthful appearance as well as significantly reduce visible scars, signs of aging and discolorations of the skin. It is a safe and effective alternative to harsh chemically based or surgical procedures.
Our aesthetic procedures stimulate collagen synthesis to improve skin tone and texture while reducing fine lines and wrinkles. Our therapies include treatment for acne scars, stretch marks, hyper-pigmentation, hair restoration and sun-damaged skin. Our natural aesthetics include micro-needling, non-surgical facelifts and hair restoration with PRP.
Micro-needling - Automated Micro-Needling is a new innovation in aesthetic medicine used to stimulate your body to produce collagen. Micro-needling increases the remolding of the skin by creating thousands of microscopic channels in the skin. This increases the formation of new tissue by activating the body’s healing cascade and it allows better sub-dermal delivery for products applied topically.
Micro-needling with PRP – this has all the perks of micro-needling with the added benefits of PRP. Combining PRP with Micro-Needling intensifies the natural healing cascade because it contains a high concentration of the patients own growth factors to also stimulate collagen production.
Non-surgical facelift with PRP – this procedure goes deeper than our micro-needling in order to stimulate more areas of the dermis, breathing new life into the area and creating a more youthful appearance, eliminating wrinkles and signs of aging almost immediately.
Non-surgical facelift with micro-needling and PRP – this has all the perks of the non-surgical facelift with the added benefits of PRP, which stimulates new collagen growth at a deeper level of the skin, resulting in an enduring youthful appearance.
Hair restoration (with PRP) – using micro-needling with PRP over the affected area is also an effective treatment for certain types of hair loss. Combined with herbal treatments and hormonal balance, it has shown to be a beneficial proactive therapeutic option for male and female patients experiencing hair loss.
What is micro-needling?
Automated Micro-Needling (also known as Collagen Induction Therapy or CIT) is a new innovation in aesthetic medicine for treating the appearance of fine lines, acne scars and improvement of the skin’s overall appearance. The procedure uses a micro-pen to create controlled micro-abrasions to the affected areas. These micro-abrasions stimulate the repair process of the skin to naturally produce collagen and elastin. The result is an overall improvement in the skin’s color, texture, and tone with a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles.
What is PRP?
PRP (Platelet-rich plasma) is blood plasma that has been enriched with platelets. Platelets help tissue to heal and grow new cells. Platelets contain growth factors that stimulate tissue recovery by increasing collagen production. PRP is formulated by spinning down a blood sample in a centrifuge to separate out the platelet-rich plasma from other parts of the blood in order to create a more concentrated collection of platelets.
How is PRP used?
The PRP is separated out from a small blood sample that is taken prior to the procedure. The patient then has a micro-needling procedure in order to create the micro-abrasions and channels that are necessary before applying the concentrated platelets to the affected area. After the micro-needling procedure, the PRP is then applied topically to the affected areas, which enables deeper penetration of the PRP to the needed areas. The effect of the micro-needling with PRP is noticeable plumpness and rejuvenation to the skin and the smoothing of wrinkles, scars and fine lines.
Micro-needling with or without PRP can improve the following:
skin tone and color inconsistencies
large pores and damaged capillaries
acne, surgical, and burn scars
Discoloration of the skin due to aging or sun damage
thin skin or wrinkles
